As more than 300 conferees will gather in one location, we will hear from the Lord through worship, prayer, testimonies and plenary messages.
workshopIn addition to the usual topics such as returnee preparation and ministering to Japanese, ec 04 is planning to provide workshops suitable to a variety of interests that conferees may have.
- Leadership track （ for those who are interested in Christian leadership in Japanese ministry in the context of the workplace, to learn how to model Christ and serve and love others as His example. ）
- Growing track （ for those who want to learn more about God and the Bible in Japanese, deepen their relationship with God, and grow according to His blueprint. ）
- Non-Japanese track （ for those English speakers who have been praying for and serving Japanese Christians, and who want to receive more training on effective ministry to Japanese. ）
- Returnee-recipient track （ for those who receive returnees in Japan and co-labor with them for the salvation of Japan, while seeking to understand the heart of the returnees. ）
We also have some programs for those who are seeking God (or just interested in Christianity) and high school students.

“God of the Bible,” “the Bible and evolution theory,” “the reconciliation within our family,” “Christians in marketplace,” “how to start outreach ministry for the Japanese students,” “considering full time Christian ministry,” “the role of Japanese Christians in Asia ,” etc.
We offer small groups where you will experience fellowship of your heart. God has given some conferees lifetime friends at past ec's.

On the 30th of December during the ec, there is a program called "Optional Interest Meeting."“I appreciated many discussion opportunities within the small group settings. I was touched by each member honestly sharing about themselves, actively listening to others, enthusiastically exchanged what we felt, etc. I was so thankful for my small group members.”

This is a time in which the participants can connect and network with people with similar interests and/or callings. It is a great opportunity to get to know the people who serve God and who has the same vision as yours.
We want participants to request any categories for this Interest Meeting.

The style of the meeting and number of participants are free to choose.
Examples of Interest Categories:
Overseas missions, evangelism to int'l, ministry to social workers, college ministry, youth ministry, women's ministry, guy's meeting, art (music, visual art, dance, etc.), media ministry, pastoral ministry, regional ministry....etc.
There will also be a booth provided, so that the ec participants can network with their interests smoothly. At the booth we will also guide you to identify what your gifts and/or callings might be.
We would like to help the ec participants be connected to brothers and sisiters to serve God together, by responding to your requests. During the conference, p lease check our bulletin as well.
As a general rule, the programs at ec 04 will be in Japanese. During the plenary sessions, however, English simultaneous translation will be provided (please bring a portable FM radio. Digital radio works better). Some workshops will be offered in English and others will be translated. You can also choose between English and Japanese small groups.
